Apparently, this is what Google finds when you ask for a “Warm Fluffy Feeling”

Okay, let's be real. This isn't your typical "subscribe for exclusive content" spiel. In fact, it's the opposite. I want to be completely upfront: a paid subscribtion to my publication gets you absolutely nothing extra. Zilch. Nada. There is no bonus content, no special access, and no secret handshake. The content remains the same for everyone, whether you're a paid subscriber or not.

And you know what? That's perfectly fine with me. Because this isn't about me. It's about two fantastic charities that are very close to my heart: Childline and The Not Forgotten Association.

Every six months, I'll be dividing all the proceeds from paid subscriptions equally between these two incredible charities.

Why these charities?

  • Childline: Provides a vital lifeline for children and young people in need of support. They offer a safe and confidential space for kids to talk about anything that's worrying them, 24 hours a day. They do so much to help protect those most vulnerable, and having seen the horrors I have seen through these eyes, I believe they need as much support as possible so they can answer the call to every child that rings them!

  • The Not Forgotten Association: Dedicated to supporting and remembering our Armed Forces veterans. They work tirelessly to combat isolation and loneliness amongst veterans, providing vital support and companionship. They supported me and Colleen a great deal through tough times when I was diagnosed with C-PTSD, and now I try to pay back in any way I can.

So, while you won't get any extra stuff by subscribing, you will get something far more valuable: that warm, fuzzy feeling of knowing you're making a real difference in the lives of others for the price of a coffee, you'll be directly contributing to the crucial work these charities do.

My first paid subscriber Jules will tell you that he gets extra Leffe cuddles for being my first age you never forget your first!

Think of it less as a subscription and more as a donation with a little extra something thrown in – the knowledge that you're supporting causes that truly matter.

If you're looking for a way to give back and support these amazing charities, subscribing is a simple and effective way to do it. And honestly, who needs more stuff anyway? Sometimes, the best things in life are the feelings you get from helping others.
