Cyber Safety Guy - Online Child Safety - Parents|Teachers|Guardians Edition
Happy Friday, everyone. I hope it has been a good week and you are looking forward to some well-deserved downtime this Bank Holiday weekend!
As promised, I will be creating three child online safety presentations:
A guide for parents, teachers & Guardians
A guide for children up to 13
A guide for teens 13+
Here is the first of those promised videos, which is 30 minutes long and filled with some excellent advice for parents, teachers & guardians and really anyone with an interest in keeping children safe online
I hope this will be useful to many of you and ask that you share it on your own social media profiles and with your friends and family. I am hosting this on my YouTube channel, but will also be sorting a downloadable version as I really hope that this is a resource that can be used to show to groups of people as much as possible.
⚡Please don’t forget to react & restack if you appreciate my work. More engagement means more people might see it. ⚡
I have already recorded the second presentation and am hopeful to have that published by next week! My vision is that the age-specific ones can be used by youth organisations and schools to be provided to children, or even better, used to educate them as a group, to allow for discussion and questions!
I am also hosting the video presentations on my Google drive should you wish to be able to give the presentation in an offline environment .
As I have said previously, I am happy to make myself available to present to groups of parents, teachers or youth organisations. Just reach out to me for a chat.
Have a great weekend and as always, I am here to hear any comments, suggestions or questions.
As always, thank you for your support. Please share this across your social media, and if you do have any comments, questions, or concerns, then feel free to reach out to me here or on BlueSky, as I am always happy to spend some time helping to protect children online.
Remember that becoming a paid subscriber means that you will be supporting two charities that are very close to my heart and doing amazing things for people. The Not Forgotten Association and Childline, as I will split all subscriptions 50/50 and donate to each charity every six months, as I don’t do any of this for financial gain.
