Small Subscriptions, Big Impact: My Promise Delivered.........Again
Childline & The Not Forgotten receive second donations
Another six months have passed, and I am due my next donation to these wonderful charities. Since my last donation, my paid subscribers have unfortunately halved to just one.
I want to say a personal thank you to Jules for keeping the faith, as you are not only supporting me and pushing me to keep writing, but you are also supporting the Not Forgotten Association and Childline, and having a very real impact on the lives of Children and Veterans. The cost of a subscription to the blog may be small, but the effect is huge.
Now, as the old saying goes, “From acorns mighty oaks grow” and that is very true here because my blog is slowly growing and now has 288 subscribers, that is 288 people who have taken an interest in my efforts to protect children online. It is this which gives me the energy to keep writing. The fact that I can also support amazing charities is the cherry on top!
So, down to the numbers! As you can see, I have received £29.18 in subscriptions since the last donation. Before I split the donations, I am going to double the amount and then double again as my donation, because until the mighty oak has grown, I want the charities to receive a good amount :)
Therefore, I have donated £58.36 to each charity today, and a reminder remains on my calendar for six months from now to hopefully donate the same, if not more.
As I mentioned in the e-mail I sent to all subscribers on 16th November, I will be focusing on one charity going forward that aligns with my blogging more and therefore amplifies my messaging and efforts to protect children in the online environment.
I am very happy to announce that The Cyber Safety Guy Blog will be supporting the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) and, more precisely, their Childline initiative.
Thanks again to everybody who follows and supports me in the battle to defeat the abilities of online predators to destroy the lives of many.
As always, thank you for your support. Please share this across your social media, and if you do have any comments, questions, or concerns, then feel free to reach out to me here or on BlueSky as I am always happy to spend some time helping to protect children online.
Remember that becoming a paid subscriber means supporting a charity that is very close to my heart and doing amazing things for people. Childline, I will donate all subscriptions collected every six months, as I don’t do any of this for financial gain.
